2010 Habitat for Humanity East King County Golf Tournament
 Thank
you to everyone who joined us for the 2010 Golf Tournament at Elk Run
Golf Club on Tuesday, July 20th. It was a fun day of
golf and Habitat! Thanks to the generous attendees, Habitat raised
almost $15,000, which will go directly to our homebuilding program.
Foursomes competed for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the best ball scramble
tournament. There were also prizes for the putting, closest to the pin,
longest, and straightest drive contests!
After the tournament, golfers were treated to delicious pulled pork
sandwiches and a short program where they heard from Johnson Marshall,
Habitat EKC Board Chair and Event Chair, Tom Granger, Habitat EKC
Executive Director and Lola Reyes, Habitat homeowner.
A special thank you to Daryl Connell for his generous
donation of greens fees and carts at Elk Run and to all of our sponsors
and in-kind donors.
